This Privacy Policy governs your use of our official website (ProjectDads.org), our mobile applications—including Project DADs Connect and SaferHaven—our educational portals (including The Nurturing Fathers Program), and our vetted professional directory network.

1. Corporate & Operational Structure

Project D.A.D.S. (Dismantling Antiquated Domestic Standards) is a registered California 501(c)(3) Public Benefit Corporation responsible for community advocacy, non-profit outreach, and public support initiatives. Project D.A.D.S. Technologies, Inc. owns, operates, and provides all digital software platforms, mobile applications (Project DADs Connect and SaferHaven), commercial directory listings, interactive technology infrastructure, and technical user support.

2. Information We Collect

To provide mobile app functionality, navigation, safety alerts, class enrollment, and directory services, we collect the following data types:

• Account & Contact Information: Phone numbers (used via Firebase Phone Auth for account creation/verification), names, email addresses, and profile details created within our applications.
• Location Data (SaferHaven): Approximate and precise GPS location data to power real-time map navigation, safe route planning, and hazard alerts. Location data is processed to deliver active app functionality.
• User-Generated Content & Media (SaferHaven): Photos, videos, posts, and comments voluntarily submitted by users to report road hazards, community alerts, or timeline updates.
• Course Progress Data (Project DADs Connect): Attendance, assignment submissions, and progress metrics required to issue verifiable Family Court Certificates of Completion.
• Inquiry Requests: Information submitted when requesting intake or professional directory introductions (Family Law, Defense, Therapy, or Real Estate).
• App Diagnostics: Basic device identifiers, operating system metrics (iOS/Android), and crash analytics to maintain platform security, routing stability, and performance.

3. How We Use & Protect Your Data

All collected user data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (TLS/HTTPS). We use your data strictly to:

• Provide core application routing, hazard mapping, and community navigation features.
• Authenticate account access securely via phone number verification.
• Deliver parenting courses and generate court-verified certificates.
• Process requested introductions to vetted professional networks.

4. Account & Data Deletion Requests

Users have full control over their personal information. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data directly within the app settings of Project DADs Connect or SaferHaven, or by sending a direct deletion request to Vincent@projectdads.org. Upon request, your account and data will be permanently removed (subject to official legal retention requirements for family court certificate verification records).
